Hardware Overview

FL-1000 In-line Sensor

The Safehous FL 1000 in-line leak sensor is installed at the property’s main water feed line, where it monitors even the slightest change in water flow. It intelligently distinguishes between a true leak and normal water usage, delivering accurate and reliable protection at all times. The FL 1000 can be installed on both cold and hot water lines, making it a versatile solution for any property.

Point of Leak Sensor

The Safehous Point of Leak Sensor is designed for direct placement at high-risk fixtures and appliances. When water makes contact with the rope sensor, it immediately activates and sends a real time alert to the system. Compact, precise, and fast acting, it provides immediate detection at the exact point where leaks are most likely to occur.

Automated Shut Off Valve

When a leak is detected by either the inline sensor or a floor leak sensor, the Safehous automatic shutoff valve responds instantly. It will either close the property’s main water valve automatically or alert designated personnel to shut it off manually. The water supply remains off until the issue is identified and repaired, preventing further damage and keeping the property fully protected.

Leak Sensor Controller

The Safehous Leak Controller serves as the central command unit for the FL 1000 inline sensor and the automatic shutoff valve. It communicates directly with the Safehous Gateway Hub to trigger alerts, automate valve closure, or notify personnel.

Internet Gateway

Safehous delivers up to one quarter mile of extreme long range coverage through our advanced LoRa based wireless system. LoRa, short for Long Range, outperforms WiFi and traditional RF technologies with superior distance, stability, and obstruction penetration. This allows Safehous devices to communicate seamlessly across multiple floors, large homes, multifamily properties, and even between buildings on expansive sites.
